SMS Consent

Public reviewer copy

How SMS opt-in works

The production opt-in screen appears during employee onboarding or a private employer rollout. Because that workflow is not public, this page hosts an identical public reviewer copy for carrier verification.

  1. 1 The employee enters their full name, employer, country, and mobile number.
  2. 2 The SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default and must be actively selected before submission.
  3. 3 The checkbox discloses recurring workplace survey messages, variable message frequency, message and data rates, STOP opt-out, and HELP support.
  4. 4 The form links to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, and states that consent is not a condition of employment.
  5. 5 Latent Variables stores an individual consent record for each subscriber before sending any SMS message. Employer onboarding paperwork or roster-level attestations are retained as corroborating documentation only and never enable messaging by themselves — texting begins only after the individual’s own digital opt-in is recorded. Initial enrollment is not collected by verbal, in-store, QR code, or keyword opt-in.
